Similipal National Park
Located in Mayurbhanj, Northern Odisha, Similipal Tiger Reserve is a place where Nature binds you with its awe inspiring beauty, grace, power and its calmness. Barehipani Waterfall
It's the altruistic nature of Odisha that it lets travellers come and take joy at the sight of the second highest fall across India, Barehipani. This waterfall shares land with the Simlipal National Park settled in the Mayurbhanj district which is known for sheltering wild elephants, gaurs (Indian bison), Bengal tigers and chausingha(four horned antelope).It is the River Budhabalanga that lets this waterfall cuddle and flow over the mighty Meghasani mountain. One of the most interesting thing about this famous waterfall in Odisha is its two drop that descends from a wife cliff with a height of 399 m where the tallest drop ranges 259 m.

Jagannatha Temple, Baripada
The Sri Jagannath Temple is a revered Hindu temple that is situated in Baripada in the Mayurbhanj district of Odisha. Dedicated to the Lord of the Universe, or Lord Jagannath (since 'Jagat' means world and 'Nath' means lord of), the temple witnesses an inflow of a large number of pilgrims throughout the year. The temple is also known as the second Srikhetra of Orissa and boasts of being one of the oldest temples of Orissa. The Rathyatra that takes place here is also a grand affair and is the second largest after the Puri Rath Yatra. At the same time, the rituals and practices that are followed at the temple are unique and revolutionary.

One can do both at Deba-kunda, God's very own pond.Riding my Royal Enfield, I cov-ered some really dusty roads to reach the gates of the heavenly Deba-kunda. Mesmerised by the beauty and somewhat feeling a little unclean from all the dust that my body had accumulat-ed over the journey, I decided to jump into the cold water and the only thing that my mouth could utter was 'Har Har Mahadev'.

Ramatirtha Crocodile Project
Crocodilians were threatened in India due to indiscriminate killing for commercial purpose and severe habitat loss until the enactment of the Wildlife (Protection) Act, 1972. All the three species of crocodiles, namely, Gharial (Gavialis gangeticus), Mugger crocodile (Crocodylus palustris) and Saltwater crocodile (Crocodylus porosus), in the river systems of Odisha were on the verge of extinction by the seventies. Crocodile population started to decline because of the increasing human activity in the rivers and their other traditional habitats, and consequent reduction in the extent of habitable stretches.

Sitakund Waterfall
Sitakund Waterfall is one of the best waterfall which is located within Similipal National Park in the Mayurbhanj district. The distance between Similipal National Park Pithavata gate and the waterfall is only 2 km, 25 km away from Baripada, and about 91 km away from Balasore. The water flows from the top of the hills. The water is cold and clean.The surroundings of the waterfall are dense forests and hills. The best time to visit the waterfall is during the winter season. It can be the perfect place for a family picnic or outing. Here, you can also explore other places, such as Similipal National Park, Sitakund Forest Resort, and Similipal Eco Cottage, which are only 1 to 2 km away from the waterfall. Khiching
Comes under the district of Mayurbhanj, Khiching is a historical village that was once the capital of Bhanja rules. The star attraction of this beautiful place is a Maa Kichakeswari Temple which dates back to the 7th or 8th century. Kichakeswari Temple is made up of chlorite slabs and boasts an impressive Kalinga architectural design. However, the temple is believed to be the first temple of Odisha and because of this Khiching is known as the town with a rich heritage history. But, the architectural ruins recovered from this place said that the temple traces its history from the 8th to 12th century.
