Prag Mahal
Next door to the Aina Mahal, in the same walled compound, is the giant Prag Mahal, which may at first seem slightly out of place at the far western edge of India, looking more appropriate in France. But then again, globalization is not a new phenomenon. This is a palace commissioned by King Pragmalji in the 1860s, designed by Colonel Henry Saint Wilkins in the Italian Gothic style and built in the middle of Bhuj next to the Aina Mahal.

Little Rann Of Kutch - Wild Ass Sanctuary
Located in an area called Little Run of Kutch, the Wild Ass Sanctuary in Kutch is the only home to wild ass in India. The sanctuary was set up in 1973 with a purpose to protect the endangered Indian wild ass. Sprawling over an area of 5000 square kilometers of the Little Rann and covering a minor portion of the cities like Sundernagar, Rajkot, Patan, Banaskantha and Kutch district, the wild ass sanctuary is the largest wildlife sanctuary in Gujarat. Indian Wild Ass (Equus hemionus khur), commonly known as the ghudkhar, still exists in this sanctuary.

Kalo Dungar
Kalo Dungar, also known as Black Hill, stands as the highest elevation in Kutch at 462 metres above sea level. It is situated about 97 kms from Bhuj and 25 kms from the nearest town, Khavda. This location is unique in Kutch for offering a sweeping view of the Great Rann of Kutch. Due to its proximity to the Pakistan border, there is an army post at the summit, restricting access beyond this point. Shyamji Krishna Varma was born on 4th October, 1857 in Mandvi town of Kachchh district of Gujarat. He was one of the foremost freedom fighters in the history of the freedom movement of India with high sense of patriotism and selfless service for the nation. He had organized a revolutionary center in “India House” at London and propagated the cause of India’s independence through his writings in his publication journal called The “Indian Sociologist”.

Mata no Madh
Mata no Madh is a temple dedicated to Maa Ashapura and is located 138 kilometres from the city of Bhuj in Gujarat.
