Virat Temple Shahdol

Virat Temple is the best place to visit in Shahdol. This temple is built in Suhagpur of Shahdol. You can easily come to visit this temple. This is famous shiv temple in Shahdol City. This temple is about 3 km away from main city. You can reach this temple by road in own car or bike.Virat temple is Ancient Temple. This temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva. This temple is very beautifully built. There is a big garden outside the temple. In this temple, a big pavilion and Garbha Graha can be seen.

The walls of the temple have beautiful carvings which look very beautiful. The pavilion of the temple is made in square shape which makes this temple look unique.

This Temple built in the 11th century. Shivling is sitting in the sanctum sanctorum inside the temple. The idol of Lord Nandi is sitting in the mandap. This temple was built by Kalchuri king Yuvraj Dev Ji.
