Vijay Mandir Palace was built in the early 20th century by Maharaja Jai Singh of Alwar. It served as a royal residence and hunting lodge for the Maharajas of Alwar.The palace is renowned for its Indo-Islamic architecture, characterized by domes, arches, intricate carvings, and marble work. The design reflects a blend of Mughal and Rajput architectural styles, showcasing the opulence and artistic finesse of the era.Vijay Mandir Palace is situated amidst landscaped gardens and lush greenery on the banks of the Siliserh Lake. Its serene location offers panoramic views of the lake and the surrounding Aravalli hills, making it a picturesque destination.The palace was used as a retreat for the royal family during the summer months, providing a cool and tranquil environment away from the heat of Rajasthan. It was also a venue for royal gatherings, celebrations, and cultural events.Today, Vijay Mandir Palace has been converted into a heritage hotel managed by the Rajasthan Tourism Development Corporation (RTDC).
