Stone Piller

The city of Fatehabad is located in the Haryana state of India. The Lat, or stone pillar, constructed by Emperor Ashoka in Hansi or Agroha in Haryana is only one among the many attractions in Fatehabad. In his honour, the structure was dubbed Kirti Stambh of Emperor Ashoka. Firoz Shah Tughak, however, brought the pillar's lower section to Fatehabad and used it to construct another lat there after dismantling the tall structure. Stone Piller this famous Lat was constructed by the Mughal Emperor Ashoka in Agroha or Hansi in the state of Haryana. It was also named as the “Kirti Stambh of Ashoka”. Later, Firoj Shah Tuglak dismantled this towering pillar and shifted the lower portion of the pillar to the city of Fatehabad. Later, this portion was employed for constructing a new pillar here. illar (or Lat)
