SRS Hills
SRS Hills is located a few kilometers away from Ramanagara which is on the Bangalore-Mysore highway. Turn left after exiting Ramanagara and just follow the boards indicating SRS Hills.
Once you reach the place, you can decide to park at the bottom, or go a little higher to a first temple. I would suggest to start from the bottom as there’s a few things to see on the way up to the higher starting point.
The hill itself is not very difficult to climb. There are steps all along and it will take you around 20 minutes to reach the top. All along, you get a nice view on the surroundings with other hills on the horizon. There are plenty of mango plantations all around.
There are two small mantapas on the top of the hill, as well as the Sri Revana Siddheshwara (SRS) temple. There are quite a few monkeys on the hill sides which make a lot of noise when running on the roof that you find along the climb.
