Kali-Niketan
The monarchs of Chhota-Udepur were highly fond of art and architecture, thus they built exquisite palaces such as Kali-Niketan, which was initially known as Nahar Villa but was subsequently renamed to Kali-Niketan, which means the residence of Goddess Kali, in honour of the family Goddess, Mahakali. Kali-Niketan was built as a summer palace for the current owner Maharaj Sajjansinh’s grandfather Maharaja Fatehsinhji in the late 1800s. The structure comprises six air-conditioned rooms, two drawing rooms, two dining rooms, two lounges, and five patios.
