Damdama Lake

Damdama Lake is around 40 kms from the city of Palwal and has an area of 3000 acres. This was one of the first dams built for the purpose during British era, when rain water harvesting on a large scale in India was taking baby steps. This lake is filled majorly by monsoon rains pouring from the base of Aravali Hills. Palwal to Damdama Lake takes merely a 50 mins ride by road. A resort named “Dream Island Resort” is located right in the middle of the lake which provides accommodation, food and fun activities to the tourists and guests. Surrounded by the magnificent Aravali Hills, this place is one of the most loved picnic spot to spend time away from the monotony of city life.
