CHILKAHRADA WILD LIFE SANCTUARY

The Chikhaldara Wildlife Sanctuary is situated in the Amravati district at a height of approximately 1118 meters. It is an extension of the Melghat Tiger Reserve in the southeast and is also referred to as Wan Wildlife Sanctuary. Panthers, sloth bears, sambar, wild boars, and even the rarely observed wild dogs can all be found at the Chikhaldara Wildlife Sanctuary. You are guaranteed to encounter many of these species if you spend a few days visiting Chikhaldara National Park.
